I believe that communities can change the world. I also believe that organizations, businesses, entrepreneurs, and motivated individuals have an important role to play: the opportunity to leverage their position in society by helping to build better and stronger communities.

Through activation, people within communities benefit by being empowered to create what they need. Organizations and businesses thrive by being better aligned with the fast-changing needs of society.

Social equity: Evening out power structures and bringing as many voices as possible to the forefront adds strength to our communities and allows us to find better solutions for our society. 

Environmental health: Embracing our responsibility to care for and be good stewards of the environment is fundamental for staying grounded and connected to our world.

Mindfulness: Being intentional, thoughtful, and kind in our actions is fundamental for affecting and creating a world that we want to be a part of.

My community development approach comes from a community-based, participatory framework, where equity and inclusion are emphasized. 

I aim to help you help yourselves, so your community structures are sustainable over the long term. 

There is no one-size-fits-all framework for communities. I learn with you and the people within your community. 

I achieve high-quality, sustainable results by:

* Using community-based strategies tailored to the needs of your members, stakeholders, and organization
* Levering techniques from project management (certified PMP), facilitation, stakeholder assessment, and program evaluation
* Bringing the most updated and relevant evidence-based information and approaches to each project
* Applying my expertise from the fields of the human-environment and social development
* Building capacity within your organization
* Helping you listen to, connect with, and understand the people within your community
