Community Engagement
For organizations and project leads:
Do you need a more strategic approach to community engagement for your organization or project?
I’ll help you:
– Create a sustainable foundation for your community
– Develop the best practices and approaches to meet the needs of your unique community
– Set up the right infrastructure and data management structure
Example process:
– Do an assessment of the community
– Develop a community engagement plan
– Help to hire and/or coach a community director/manager to manage the project over the long-term
Timeframe:
– I work for 5-20 hours per week on the project
– Length of the project is 6-12 months
Train and coach
For community managers and community directors:
Want to improve your community building and community management skills?
I’ll help you:
– Make sense of what is working and what is not working in your community
– Develop your own framing and approach to your community engagement strategy
– Increase your impact and value as a community manager
Example process/activities:
– Identifying your goals
– Weekly/biweekly coaching meetings
– Shadowing you at meetings and events
– Reviewing and giving feedback products that you develop
– Being your thought partner
Timeframe:
– Ranges from one-off coaching sessions, 2-hours every other week, to 3 hours a week
– For the most impact, I recommend that we work together for 3 months and more
Group training sessions:
