Why Middle Path EcoSolutions?

For those of you curious about the business name and logo:

The middle path describes a viewpoint that is free from extremes. For me, Middle Path acknowledges the existence of many different ways of being, and how they all exist together. Within the complexity of communities and the environments that we live in, we challenge ourselves to seek the middle path and the clarity that it can provide—finding the way that is unique and best for each one of us. 

EcoSolutions is the integration of two different words. “Eco” is defined as environment, habitat, or surroundings. I added the term “solutions” to refer to the answers that are evident in and provided by nature and ecology. Communities of people are a part of their environment, and the natural world is a part of us. 

My logo (left) depicts this middle path, as it threads its way between the balance of people (represented by constructed spaces) and our environment (a leaf).

My mission is to help organizations engage with and activate communities. I call my business Middle Path EcoSolutions to honor the value of finding and walking the middle path, while remembering to look towards our environment and social-ecology for solutions as to how best to do so.
